| All minors (anyone under 18 years of age) must attend Lark Camp with a parent or guardian. Minors will be lodged with or adjacent to their parent or guardian. There is special paperwork required for a minor to attend with a guardian rather than a parent or legal guardian. Guardians will receive forms (waiver, consent, emergency contact, medical release) that must be filled out by the parent, guardian and minor, and returned to Lark Camp by July 1. If the forms are not received by Lark Camp by July 1, the minor's registration will be canceled with no refund. The minor will not be able to enter Lark Camp without these forms on file. If a minor is refused entry to Lark Camp for this reason, there is no refund. Guardians must also bring copies of the forms to keep at camp with them, should they need them (i.e. one of the forms is a medical release by the parent allowing the guardian to make medical decisions for the minor in an emergency).
The guardian assumes full responsibility to make decisions necessary to
the well-being of the minor, and assumes full responsibility for the
minor's actions and medical situations at Lark Camp. If the minor does
not follow acceptable behavior, as established by the camp staff and
directors, the guardian will be responsible for the minor leaving
camp. |
