Wayne Hankin


Wayne Hankin is a leading artist of period woodwind instruments dating before 1750. His instrument repertoire includes flutes, bagpipes, pipe and tabor, recorders, reed-pipes, and musette. A master of medieval renaissance and baroque repertory, he has concertized at many of the major performance centers and festivals in the U.S. and Europe and performed with Cirque du Soleil for nearly five years. Hankin is a graduate of the New England Conservatory and the Hartt College of Music.
